Information sharing advice for practitioners providing safeguarding services to children, young people, parents and carer

The Department for Education has recently issued updated information sharing advice for practitioners. The advice replaces ‘Information sharing: advice for practitioners providing safeguarding services (2015)’. It is for practitioners and senior managers to help you to decide when and how to share personal information legally and professionally.

The advice is amended in light of GDPR and includes an update to the 7 Golden Rules of Information Sharing as follows
