The role of the Registered Manager in the Residential Family Assessment Centre is to ensure the day-to-day running of the service provides the environment for assessment to take place and that babies and children are protected during their stay at the centre.
The Registered Manager should have the capacity, experience and skills to lead and manage the Residential Family Centre in accordance with its ethos, ensuring robust, fair, and evidence-based assessment and support are provided as defined in the centre’s statement of purpose.
The Residential Family Centre Registered Manager will need to demonstrate that they have the essential skills to develop the leadership and management of the centre within their remit such that the centre has the capacity and capability to meet the Residential Family Centres National Minimum Standards and The Residential Family Centres Regulations 2002 and amendment 2013.
